Ukraine Targets Russian Telecom Firms with New Sanctions Package
The measures are aimed at companies accused of enabling secure communications for Russian government institutions and providing internet services in areas of Ukraine under Russian control.
The sanctions list also includes satellite operators and firms involved in broadcasting Russian television channels, as part of a broader effort to restrict information and communication infrastructure linked to Moscow.
Officials said Ukraine plans to share details of the sanctioned entities with international partners in order to encourage coordinated restrictions across different jurisdictions.
The presidential office added that the move is intended to strengthen pressure on networks allegedly supporting Russian administrative and military activities in occupied territories.
